HR Consultancy Adviser

The Role

Are you able to work closely with managers to develop effective relationships and improve the HR experience?

Are you able to proactively manage a full and diverse caseload covering all employee relations matters and business improvement projects, whilst supporting the management of business change?

If so, we would love to hear from you! We are recruiting a full time HR Consultancy Adviser on a 12 month fixed term contract. 

Within this advisory role, you will:  

  • Be the link between the HR department and the wider business and demonstrate effective communication skills 
  • Be an HR generalist with a good understanding of employment law
  • Be a resilient and motivated self-starter

You will need:

  • Good working knowledge of the HR function, including employee relations and a basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Confidence in the principles of equality and diversity for the purposes of working effectively.
  • Understanding of both Councils’ duties and responsibilities for safeguarding children, young people and adults and how they apply to this role.

Although the main location is the Town Hall in Wandsworth you would be required to travel to offices within the boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond. We also recognise the importance of a good balance between work and home life so we do everything we can to accommodate flexible working such as homeworking.

  • Interview date/s: 11th August & 16th August 2022 (it is our intention to hold the interviews in person in Wandsworth)
