Habilitation Assistant - Linden Lodge School

An opportunity to join our highly motivated and skilled team as a Habilitation Assistant working with the Wandsworth Sensory Support Service (WSSS) has become available.
This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming young peoples’ lives, promoting independence and has a desire to develop their career in a Special School’s outreach setting. You'll be working in a small team of colleagues committed to providing high quality support to the children and young people to enable them to achieve their potential for independence.
We believe in ‘Minimising Risk and Maximising Independence’ for all and the role involves working with pupils, their families and other professionals to ensure a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn new skills.
The postholder will be working across both the Linden Lodge School and its outreach offer. Some evening working may be required of the postholder.
The successful candidate must be willing to undertake the mandatory training course for which support will be provided.
