The Wandle Learning Trust (WLT) is a growing and successful Multi Academy Trust. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our governance function. This role provides advice and guidance on governance, constitutional and procedural matters and will contribute towards the efficient functioning of the Trust Board and Local Academy Committees.
The Board of the Trust comprises Trustees with diverse, relevant skills from a variety of professional backgrounds and is led by a Chair with extensive educational experience.
We are looking for an individual who has highly effective influencing and enabling skills with the ability to problem-solve. You will have the confidence to advise the Chair, Trust Board and Executive Headteachers, even when in difficult, contentious or challenging circumstances. You will have experience of governance, and a thorough understanding of relevant education, charity, data protection and company law.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and a proven track record of strategic planning and people management. The desire to help successfully deliver a long term vision, and a commitment to doing the right thing are essential.
