Job Title: Head of Housing Services – Assessment and Adaptation
Salary: MG3 £78,593 to £93,507
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (36 hours)
Location: Richmond and Wandsworth
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced housing professional to manage a variety of housing services across both Richmond-upon-Thames and Wandsworth, as part of the two borough’s near unique shared staffing arrangement (SSA).
In this role, you will manage two sovereign budgets in the context of two policy and governance frameworks. Effectively, the same role done twice but, on occasion, done differently.

Your teams deliver:
- Homelessness prevention and casework (Richmond only),
- Housing Register assessments and demand management,
- All Reviews and Appeal activity,
- Rough sleeping services and commissioning and
- Disability related property adaptations through the Home Improvement Agency.
A mixed portfolio of housing services needing someone who relishes hard work, demands high standards of themselves and their people. Please note, this role is predominantly office based across our two locations in Twickenham and Wandsworth.
