Albemarle is a thriving and vibrant two form entry foundation school in Wandsworth serving a diverse community in Southwest London. To support our families our key areas of focus are attendance, punctuality and partnering with the school community to deliver practical support to those with high levels of need. Our goal is to provide our children with a stimulating learning environment by creating a ‘Love of Learning’ through the offer of a high-quality curriculum which, together with a range of enrichment opportunities, will provide a springboard to the next phase of their education journey. 

We are looking for a new Headteacher who:

• is committed to shaping and implementing a vision for the long-term development of the school 
• has the leadership qualities to inspire and innovate 
• can uphold high standards of teaching and learning while demonstrating strong behaviour management
• is compassionate, open and transparent in their approach
• has high expectations of all pupils and staff
• can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, the governing board and wider community
• is collaborative and able to work in partnership with a motivated and developing leadership team 
• has excellent interpersonal skills including enthusiasm, resilience and determination 
• has proven business skills
