The Role
Required for September 2022
We seek an enthusiastic, well-qualified and creative teacher of Film and Media to teach Media GCSE and A level courses, and lead the development of Media in the school.
The Film Studies department achieved 83% 9-4 at GCSE in 2019 (the last time exams were externally assessed) and 100% 9-4 in 2020 and 2021. It has been in the top 25% of Film departments nationally for value-added at A-Level with the A-Level Media Studies results being in the top 10% of schools nationally. The Film and Media department boasts excellent accommodation and facilities with consistently outstanding results across KS4 and KS5. ICT in both English and Media are well-developed.
