The Role

Southfields Academy seeks to appoint an enthusiastic IT Technician to install, assemble and configure computers, operating systems and network infrastructure. Duties will also include troubleshooting problems with computer systems and server infrastructure, both hardware and software related.

35 hours per week
All Year Round

Applicants must have:

• Microsoft Certification (Windows Client minimum, Server desirable)
• 2 years experience in a help desk role and a good level of English proficiency.
• Working knowledge of VMWare 5.5
• 1 year experience with SCCM 2007 or above
• Cisco CLI, Mac OSX and cabling is desirable.

Candidates without this knowledge or experience will not be considered. Successful candidate will need to be able to work on all above systems from day one.
