We are looking for two highly motivated, effective people to assist our Richmond homeless clients. You will also be responsible for recovering former debts.
The Income maximisation team is responsible for supporting people in temporary accommodation, particularly to ensure that they do not become homeless due to debt. We are looking for officers with great customer skills who can deal with people in a sensitive way and able to problem solve by giving benefit advice and ensuring that they are in receipt of all the income they are entitled to.
We are looking for team members who have knowledge of the Welfare Benefits system, in particular Housing Benefit and Universal Credit. In addition to being able to carry out home visits in and outside of the borough. In addition to being part of an office duty rota three days per week. - Are you passionate to support homeless clients, particularly those who may need additional help due to their health and or housing situation?
- Good knowledge of welfare benefits, in particular Housing Benefit and Universal Credit
- Knowledge of effective management of rent accounts
- Knowledge of debt advice and money management
- Able to communicate and effectively engage with a range of people.
- First rate problem solver and able to use own initiative.
- Able to set and achieve personal targets that make an impact on team performance and efficiency?
