This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Art and Technology specialist to provide technical support for a busy team of teachers delivering Art & Technology (Art, Food and Design and Technology). 


    Reports to the Curriculum Manager for Arts and Technology.  

    Responsibility for other technician team members across the department. 

    Preparation of resources across all three disciplines – Art, Food Technology and Design and Technology.  

    In-class support where required across all disciplines. 

    Responsibility for displays and support with promotional materials for open days, Arts Week and any external events.  

    Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the classrooms and prep rooms for Art, Food and Design and Technology. 

    Responsible for ensuring health and safety standards are maintained including: risk assessments, incident reporting and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.  

    Previous technical experience and/or training in Food & Nutrition or D&T desirable (We can provide statutory training if/where required).
