Learning & Development Adviser

The Role

We are a small friendly team within a busy HR section, providing learning and development solutions and support across both councils.  The role is varied and provides lots of opportunity for you to interact with a wide group of people and continuously develop your skills.  You will be responsible for planning, designing and delivering a range of in-house courses, creating storyboards for e-learning packages and, commissioning external courses. You will also be required to promote the services of the L&D team.

You should have a genuine passion for learning and development, be able to work flexibly and effectively communicate well with a wide range of people and, excellent written skills.  A working knowledge of MS Office suite of packages especially PowerPoint and Word are essential.  Experience of sales and marketing would be advantageous.  The contract will be based on 14.4hours per week for an initial period of 12 months.
