LEARNING SUPPORT OPPORTUNITY FOR GRADUATE/NON-GRADUATE IN SW LONDON
Do you want to make a real difference to children’s lives? Can you spark interest in the students at our school for the subjects they are learning?
Ernest Bevin College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed graduate/ non-graduate to work with students as a Learning Support Assistant. This is a hugely rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people. We will offer you the support you need to progress in your career and many of our LSAs go on to embark on QTS training and become qualified teachers.
Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys’ school with just over 1000 students on roll. We have a mixed sixth form of 300 students based in state of the art buildings close to good transport links.
We are an Elite Sports College competing at national and international level in a range of sports. We have fantastic sports facilities including a swimming pool and fitness studio and they are extensively used by students and staff free of charge. Staff also enjoy social football, yoga and exercise sessions and other social activities.
Over a 100 of our sixth form leavers continue their studies at university with a large proportion (approximately two thirds) choosing to study a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) subject.
We work with the Royal Marines to provide a Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and the charity Greenhouse Sports to provide further opportunities for our students beyond the school day.
