Learning Support Assistant and Meal Supervisor
To work one to one with a named pupil in KS2
£12,379 per annum
19 hours per week LSA and 5 hours Meal supervision
Term time only (39 weeks)
Event Linked contract

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our happy, thriving and successful primary school in Battersea.  Good levels of literacy and numeracy, experience with SEN, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and SEN professionals is a requirement, as is a passion for and commitment to working with children with special needs.
This post would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant or an aspiring teacher and would provide an excellent opportunity to acquire the skills and experience necessary to apply for teacher training. You must be willing to undertake professional development as required.
The role will include Midday Meal Supervision, to be part of a team responsible for the welfare and security of our pupils during the lunchtime period. To encourage good manners and collaboration between children and supervise outside play activities
Ideally a qualification in childcare but not essential
Experience in a school environment but not essential. Literacy skills to complete accident forms, read policies, e.g. Health and Safety, confidentiality, school rules.
