Leisure Assistant (Lifeguard), Part-Time (Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre)

The Role

Where you’ll be working
You’ll join our lifeguarding team working shifts at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre. Facilities here include a main pool, learner pool, fitness suite, spin studio, exercise studio and hydrotherapy pool.   Go to www.richmond.gov.uk/tpfc for more information the programme of activities offered at this centre.

What you’ll be doing

Providing a professional and friendly approach to pool safety will be your main objective. Making sure that all customers are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service and ensuring the facilities are clean, safe and staffed, so that every customer has a great experience.

What we’ll need from you

We need you to be National Pool Lifeguard qualified for this role. A first aid qualification and some experience would also be very desirable. Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role. 

You’ll also need a good knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of service.

What we can offer you

22 hrs p/w = £11,700 to £12,182pa*
28 hrs p/w = £14,891 to £15,505pa*

*Actual salary range with London Living Wage top up.
