Where you’ll be working
You’ll join our lifeguarding team at Pools on the Park, Old Deer Park, Twickenham Road, Richmond TW9 2SF.

Facilities here include indoor main and teaching pools, outdoor heated pool and grounds, fitness suite, cycle studio, class studio and café.

The Centre is open to the public 7 days a week from 6.30am to 10pm.

What you’ll be doing
Providing a professional and friendly approach to pool safety will be your main objective. Making sure that all customers are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service and ensuring facilities are clean, safe and staffed, so that every customer has a great experience.

What we’ll need from you
You must have a valid UK recognised National Pool Lifeguard qualification for this role.  A first aid qualification and some experience would also be very desirable. Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.  

You’ll also need a good knowledge of Health & Safety and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of a service.  

This is a permanent contract that requires you to work weekends all year round. Shifts will 2pm to 6pm on both Saturdays and Sundays.

You will need your own National Insurance Number (NINo) to be employed by us. If you are aged 16 years or older and have not yet been issued with a NINo, please contact HMRC or apply for one asap.

What we can offer you
Starting salary will be £5,485pa for 8hrs p/w
Salary progression range is £5,485 to £6,438pa
