The Role

Required for January 2021

Due to relocation, we are looking for an experienced, reflective and highly creative teacher to teach our Year 6 class and Lead Literacy throughout the school.

Ideally, you will be an excellent practitioner, competent in all areas of teaching with the drive to continue the development of our rich and diverse literacy curriculum. Previous Year 6 class teaching desirable. However, if you would like to apply for the class-teaching role and not have the added responsibility of being literacy lead, we would still very much welcome your application. Both the salary scale point and the TLR responsibility payment are open to negotiation for the right person.

Our children make excellent progress and have been in the top 1% of schools nationally for our reading and phonics results over the last two cycles. We greatly value our diverse catchment and view this as a major contributor to the wonderfully vibrant and creative learning climate we aim to create for all.
