Five Councils… One ambition

The South London Legal Partnership (SLLP) is now well established. It is London’s first five-borough shared legal service, combining the legal teams from Merton, Richmond, Kingston, Sutton and Wandsworth. It provides more resilient and higher quality legal services to the partners.

With continued challenge across local government, we need a Managing Director who is able to identify opportunities and work in a solution-focused way across all partners. You will be the Monitoring Officer for both Merton and Richmond whilst also overseeing exemplary legal service delivery and solutions for other SLLP partners.

This is a very challenging, yet exciting role for a positive and proactive legal professional who can work effectively with large and remote staff teams to help us deliver our future ambitions. You will possess excellent leadership skills, expert legal knowledge and the ability to work effectively with Members and the senior leadership teams across all five partners.
