Grade/Salary: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale – Inner London (£32,157 - £50,935) + SEN1 point (An additional SEN point is available to applicants with the Mandatory Qualification in Vision Impairment)

Linden Lodge School is a special school for the students with visual impairments based in Wimbledon. We are an ambitious school striving to achieve outstanding outcomes for our students. We have one of the most diverse school populations in the UK with expert and highly motivated multi-professional teams. Our facilities and resources are exceptional and family partnership working is key to our philosophy. The school has established links with our partner school (Southfields Academy) which provides students with the chance to study a wide range of qualifications up to and including GCSE and A-level.
We are looking for an outstanding, talented SEND Maths Teacher or Mainstream Maths Teacher wishing to transfer into Special Needs teaching to supplement our maths offer; helping our students to access an engaging and varied Maths curriculum.
The successful applicant will be able to meet each student at their point of learning and support their access to a meaningful exciting maths curriculum which takes into account their Visual Impairment. There will also be an opportunity to further build on links with external partners to ensure our students have access to the best possible opportunities to add value to and enrich their education within this subject area. The successful applicant will also need to be able to teach the subject to GCSE level
Please Note: Teachers at Linden Lodge School are required to undertake the mandatory qualification in the Teaching of Children with Visual Impairment if they do not already possess this qualification.
