This post will be based in the Media and Film Studies department.
The successful candidate will possess an excellent understanding of the use of new media technologies and the ability to manage resources and provide technical support to classroom teachers and students in lessons.
The film and media studies department is one of the most successful in the school, delivering GCSE and A-Level media studies and A-Level film studies. All creative, practical work is Mac based, so experience of Macs and programs such as Adobe Premier, In Design, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro-X are required. The successful candidate will be:
- Able to work well with both staff and students
- ICT literate and interested in remaining well informed of developments in new media technologies
- Genuinely interested in students and supporting pupils to progress
- Diplomatic and considerate in their interactions with others
- Well organised, good at time keeping and efficient
- Able to work independently to develop projects and see them through
- Able to act as a role model and ambassador for Graveney School and Sixth Form
