Mental Health Practitioner - Swaffield Primary School

The Role

6.5hrs a week (1 day per week, day TBC)

(Core Hours will be - 8:30am until 4:00pm – Includes one hour lunch)

Term time only (38 weeks – Excluding INSET DAYS)

Fixed Term Contract

Required for Week commencing 19th April 2021 – 31 March 2022

The successful candidate will have a recognised counselling or therapy qualification with substantial post-qualifying experience, along with a good knowledge of working in a school environment.

 

We are looking for someone who:

 

  • holds a recognised counselling or therapy qualification
  • has current membership of a relevant professional body (BACP/ PTUK/ UKCP/NCS/BPS)
  • demonstrates a range of therapeutic practices
  • has experience of working with children in a primary setting
