Minibus Driver (D1) & Accessible Vehicle Driver
£14.80 per hour
Permanent and casual roles available (service operates 7 days per week)

One Trust is a highly respected, gold-standard specialist learning disability provision operating 7 days per week in Southwest London. We support adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities, autism, and complex behavioural and sensory needs.

We are expanding our transport team and are recruiting permanent and casual drivers. All drivers receive training to help them safely and confidently support adults with complex needs.
Permanent roles - Split Shift
Split Shift: 8–10 AM & 3–5 PM (Monday to Friday, opportunities for overtime and weekend work)
About this role:
• Safely operate D1-compliant minibuses and mobility-access vehicles
• Morning route (8–10 AM) and afternoon route (3–5 PM)
• Transport adults to and from our services in a calm, respectful, and supportive manner
• Conduct dynamic risk assessment while driving
• Ensure vehicle safety checks, cleanliness, and appropriate reporting
• Work as part of a warm, supportive community team
This role is suited to someone who is:
• Local to the area
• Retired or semi-retired
• Looking for meaningful, community-based work
• Calm, reliable, and safety-focused
Casual roles
Flexible hours. Required to cover weekends, activities, fill in gaps etc. Shift times as above.
Skills & Requirements
The following are Essential
• D1-compliant driving licence
• Confident driving minibuses and accessible vehicles
• Calm, respectful, emotionally regulated demeanour
• Ability to assess risk to ensure passenger safety
• Good communication skills
• Able to communicate effectively with families, service users, and colleagues
• General health & safety awareness for passengers and vehicles
