Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

The Role

Wandsworth Work Match, the councils Jobs and Skills brokerage is recruiting for a second Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to add additional resource to an already successful delivery team.

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and develop effective data management systems to gather regular monitoring information and ensure that this information is regularly collated, analysed and reported to senior managers, external funders and Council Committees as required.

As Work Match continues to evolve, this position is a key part of the service and its ability to report on the vast number of local people we support across Wandsworth.

The post holder will facilitate the regular review of Business Plans, Strategies, Action Plans, Local Job Brokerage and Contractor's performance to ensure that outcomes are met, strategic direction analysed and any areas of concern highlighted and action proposed to improve performance.

Working in a brand-new Monitoring and Evaluation team, we are seeking someone with an eye for detail and a flair for data analysis. The Monitoring and Evaluation team also track and monitor Section 106 agreements with planning to ensure that monies from the agreements are tracked and updated for the Resources Manager in the Economic Development Office.

The Monitoring and Evaluation team will regularly source other information that may be relevant to the work of the Employment Delivery team, such as briefing notes, responses to Members' Enquiries and Freedom of Information requests, taking responsibility for drafting appropriate responses.

This is an exciting time to join Work Match and help in the continued delivery of high-quality resident engagement and business engagement activity across Wandsworth and in the reporting of a wide range of work undertaken by the Employment and Skills Delivery Team.

In return, we can offer you working arrangements that will enhance your work-life balance. These include compressed hours, home working (dependent on service need) and a generous holiday allowance of 31 days plus bank holidays.

In addition, we offer a range of staff benefits such as membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme, childcare vouchers, new technology scheme, interest-free loans on annual travel cards, discounts at many leisure activities, restaurants, shops and other establishments. A wide range of developmental opportunities is also offered.
