Music Therapist/Creative and Therapeutic Arts Coordinator (Maternity Cover) - Linden Lodge School

The Role

Full Time Hours 
Working Pattern: 52 Weeks per Year
Required: April 2020
Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for visually-impaired children and young people aged 2 – 19 years. We are constantly building and growing our provision and an opportunity to join our highly motivated and skilled team as a Music Therapist/Creative and Therapeutic Arts Coordinator become available to cover a maternity leave.
This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming young peoples’ lives, promoting independence and has a desire to develop their career in a Special School setting. You'll be working in a small team of colleagues committed to providing high quality support and education to the children and young people within the school.
The postholder will need to be HCPC registered and have a broad base of experience working with children and young people presenting with complex developmental/physical/emotional needs. In addition, the postholder will be comfortable leading and managing a team and have a broad understanding of the role of the creative and therapeutic arts team within a school such as Linden Lodge.
We have an impressive three acre campus in Wimbledon offering fabulous indoor and outdoor innovative facilities to support teaching and learning.
Please Note, this post is a Maternity Cover and will last up to 12 months.
