 About the Role 

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and London Borough of Wandsworth present this unique and great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that are responsible for reviewing the potential impact and co-ordination of Streetworks and events on the highway and dedicated to keeping London moving.

 The Network Management Team is responsible for reviewing the potential impact and co-ordination of Streetworks and events on the highway to minimise disruption and reduce congestion. We are seeking to recruit a Network Management Technical Administrator to carry out duties in accordance with the application of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA). 

 The role will be to provide comprehensive day to day administrative, technical and financial support including providing reports and statistical information to maintain and enable effective day to day operation of the Network Management Team.  

The successful candidate will need to be computer literate and have the ability to meet deadlines and manage their own workload through effective prioritising and time management.

Administration Skills: You will be responsible for all administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day functions of the service whilst prioritising a high workload and meeting conflicting deadlines. 

Communication Skills: You will need to have exceptional communication skills and experience of delivering high levels of customer service. 

Knowledge-  Do you have an understanding of the New roads and Streetworks Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act. 

Organisation Skills: You will have great attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload, manage tasks and meet deadlines.
