PE Teacher (female) - Chestnut Grove Academy

The Role

Required for September 2020

We seek an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed P.E. teacher to join a well-established team of P.E. specialists. P.E. is taught across the age range, and Cambridge National Sport Studies is taught in Key Stage 4 and BTEC Level 3 Sport at Key Stage 5. 

The successful candidate will teach across the curriculum and participate in a wide range of extra-curricular sports.

Chestnut Grove is a high performing, 11-18, multi-cultural school in Balham, South London. Our motto is a ‘Creative Learning Community’, demonstrating a commitment to providing our students with an innovative and exciting curriculum. We have undergone a multi-million pound building programme which has provided staff and students with a modern building and excellent sporting facilities, including a 3G pitch with additional MUGA courts.

This post is suitable for an NQT, for whom excellent support would be available.  As the lead partner in the Wandle Teaching School Alliance we are able to offer exceptional opportunities for professional development.
