Parking - Challenges and Compliance Officer

The Role

The London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth are looking to employ an experienced officer for this parking role.  You will be required to contribute to the smooth running of the service, present workable solutions to complex situations, and improve on current processes and policies to provide the highest quality service possible to our residents and visitors to the borough. 

The role requires you to process representations and appeal cases received against Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) in line with Richmond Councils policies and procedures and in accordance with any legislative responsibilities. You will be required to attend Tribunal hearings and represent parking in a positive light. Assist in the management of the debt recovery processes and provide a high quality of customer service to required quality and productivity standards. You will have proven experience of working in a customer service and high productivity driven environment.   

You must have working knowledge of Parking Legislations including but not limited to the TMA 2004 Road Traffic Act 1991, London Local Authorities Act 2000 and the Code of Practice on Civil Parking and Traffic Enforcement.
