The Role

Term time only, 8am-4pm (36 hours a week)
Required as soon as possible

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to work as part of our Learning Support team to take a leading role in supporting outstanding behaviour for learning at Chestnut Grove Academy.  This role will include:

• Managing the support for student on Pastoral Support Programmes and Pastoral Monitoring Process of students to prevent permanent exclusion.
• Lead operations and strategic response to behaviour which falls outside our high expectations.
• Supervising groups of internally excluded students in our reflection room
• Designing and delivering a variety of behaviour support interventions to meet students needs.
• Lead on compiling and presenting reports to Senior Management and/or outside agencies.
• Liaising with parents/carers, social workers and other relevant key professionals to promote progress academically, emotionally and socially. 
• Support with the on call duty system

The successful candidate will have at least two years experience of working to support vulnerable young people, supporting with behaviour and delivering successful interventions to help guide students to make effective progress.
