Pensions Officer – Benefits

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Pensions Shared Service as a Pensions Officer.  The Pensions Shared Service based in Wandsworth runs the administration of the Local Government Pension Scheme for five London boroughs: Camden, Merton, Richmond, Waltham Forest and Wandsworth. 

A Pensions Officer’s duties include calculating pension scheme entitlements. The post also has some checking responsibilities for the work undertaken by the Pensions Assistants.

You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of a defined benefit occupational pension scheme.

Indicative Recruitment Timeline

Interview Date: Friday 8 March 2019.  Shortlisted applicants may be asked to undertake a 30-minute written test immediately prior to interview.
