Peripatetic Music Instructor
(Violin/Viola)
Required to start in September 2019

We are looking for a viola and violin tutor to take up a day of teaching (between 4 and 5 hours) with a view to expand in this vibrant and successful music department. Exact hours will be confirmed in September 2019. The string department already consists of both a violin and cello specialist and this role would be to teach violinists of a range of abilities but also to grow the number of viola players in the school.

Applicants will have:

• A Music Degree or Diploma or relevant experience
• Teaching qualification on instrument (preferred)
• Experience of teaching beginner instrumentalists to Grade 8 and beyond
• Experience of preparing students for examinations
• Experience of leading groups / ensembles
