We are looking for a guitar tutor to take up a day of teaching (6 hours) in this vibrant and successful music department. The guitar department already consists of four days of a contemporary electric/bass guitar specialist and a classical guitar specialist and this role would be to teach guitarists in a primarily popular/contemporary idiom across both acoustic and electric disciplines along with some bass guitar too. Experience working with students to prepare GCSE ensembles would be useful. Additionally, experience tutoring students in composition would also be advantageous.

The current hourly rate of pay is £30.32 p/hr. Interested parties should complete the Graveney Trust application form and return by 4th June 2021. The date for interviews will be in the week commencing 14th June 2021. The successful candidate would be required to start from September.

Applicants will have:

• A Music Degree or Diploma or relevant experience
• Teaching qualification on instrument (preferred)
• Experience of teaching beginner instrumentalists to Grade 8 and beyond
• Experience of preparing students for examinations
• Experience of leading groups / ensembles
