Permanent Inclusion Support Assistant - Honeywell School
The Role
Role: Permanent. Full time. Term time only.
Reporting to: Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion and Head Teacher
From: January 2023
Honeywell Junior School is a three-form entry Junior school situated between Wandsworth and Clapham Commons in South London. The school has a distinct identity and works closely with the Infant School.

The successful candidate should:
- Have experience as a Teaching Assistant with pupils aged 7-11Assistant with pupils aged 7-11
- Be happy to take on primarily an administrative role supporting the Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion
- Have knowledge of SEND administration and systems i.e. the process of EHCPs
- Have strong ICT skills: be confident using Word, Excel, Publisher
- Be able to quickly learn how to use school office based technology
- Have a flexible approach to working and accept that tasks could change based on the needs of the Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion and the pupils
- Be confident to communicate effectively with parents and carers and outside agencies and prioritise tasks
- Have experience working with pupils with SEND or have a strong interest in this area
- Have experience in working with pupils with SEMH needs
- Be confident to lead an intervention group for pupils aged 7-11
