Permits Officer

The Role

The London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth present a unique opportunity to be part of a team who work together in a ground-breaking shared staffing structure across both boroughs.

The post is based in the Parking Service, which is located in the Resources Services Directorate and will be part of a team reporting directly to the Parking Permits Team leader and Permits and Supported Travel Manager.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible member of staff who will be responsible for processing applications for the Permit Team in accordance with local Policies for both boroughs. You will provide assistance for processing an array of applications ranging from resident, visitor and business permits within agreed turnaround times, whilst protecting the integrity of the scheme.

Ideally you should have experience of processing and data entry as well as experience of customer service in all forms of contact – telephone, writing and face to face.
