Policy and Performance Officer
The Role
An opportunity has arisen in the Policy and Performance Team, in the Housing and Regeneration Department working in a ground-breaking shared staffing organisation that serves two sovereign and high performing London boroughs.
The Department is responsible for housing advice and homelessness, housing management of our 33,000 council properties, including dealing with anti-social behavior and tenancy matters, the development of affordable housing, regeneration of estates and the delivery of housing strategies and policies.
The Policy and Performance Team is a busy team working across the Department focusing on developing housing strategy and policy, promoting best practice and helping front line housing services deliver effective and consistent services. While the posts are generic, each post holder is responsible for a specialised area of work.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with an up to date knowledge of both national housing policies and current housing issues, be a good communicator, have excellent report writing, numerical and analytical skills and sound IT abilities. We are particularly looking for someone who has skills in data collection, manipulation and analysis.
