The Role

South London Knowledge Exchange

The South London Knowledge Exchange is a new £6m programme that will support SME/University collaboration across the South London Partnership boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond and Sutton.  The aim of the programme is to stimulate knowledge-based growth through business start-up or expansion, improved productivity and creating high-quality jobs. Via a network of knowledge hubs in new workspace, a partnership of councils and universities will deliver a consistent innovation support offer and routes into more intensive collaboration between entrepreneurs and academia.

Programme Co-ordinator

Fixed Term to March 2023

Reporting to the Strategic Programme Manager, you will provide essential support to the partnership and programme delivery.  You will take on a wide range of duties with a particular focus on programme reporting and supporting excellent communications within the partnership and with business customers.

The post holder will have experience of working on programmes or projects, ideally supporting small businesses and involving multiple stakeholders.  This is an excellent opportunity to develop your programme management skills and experience in a high-profile partnership context.

About us:

Based in Richmond and Wandsworth Councils’ Economic Development Team, you will work closely with similar teams across the five South London Partnership (SLP) boroughs as well as the SLP team.  This programme is one of a range of initiatives to support economic recovery and growth in the SLP area.

Flexible remote working in line with Covid 19 restrictions is currently the norm but regular working across the area, including in council and partner offices, is desirable within the duration of the programme.
