Property Accounts Project Manager

The Role

The Property Accounts team within Wandsworth Council comprises of two areas specialising in raising service charges for leaseholders and managing rent accounts for tenants.

 

There is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in these areas to undertake a Project Manager role and to join the team for a 12-month period.

 

The role with include:

 

  • Leading on the implementation and migration to a new service charge system
  • Taking responsibility of the preparation work for the annual calculation of rents
  • Reviewing current processes and procedures

 

To be successful you will need to have experience of working within Housing or Finance area within the public sector, managing change, enjoy working in a small team and have outstanding communication skills to find solutions and meet targets.  You must have excellent IT skills and an understanding of applying service charges for leaseholders and undertaking social rent setting.
