Where you’ll be working
You’ll be working at the Phone Hub, the Sport & Fitness telephone service (which operates 8am to 7pm every day). The Phone Hub is based at Shene Sports & Fitness Centre, Park Avenue, East Sheen SW14 8AT.

This is a permanent contract that will require you to work the following rolling 2 week rota all year round.
Week 1
Mon - 12noon to 7pm (includes 30min unpaid break)
Wed – 8am to 4pm (includes 30min unpaid break)
Fri – 9am to 12.30pm (no break)
Sat – 8am-4pm (includes 30min unpaid break)
Week 2
Mon – 8am to 1.30pm (no break)
Tue – 8am to 3pm (incudes 30min unpaid break)
Wed – 1.30pm to 7pm (no break)
Sat – 8am to 4pm (includes 30min unpaid break)
What you’ll be doing
You’ll join our front of house team, working hard to ensure that every customer has a great experience when they visit or contact us.
Providing professional and friendly assistance with bookings / enquiries and welcoming visitors to the centre. Taking payments, operating a computerised till and reconciling money.

What we’ll need from you
For this role, you MUST have experience of:
- working in an office/admin or leisure environment
- dealing with the public in a customer care/customer facing role
- handling and reconciling money
- using a computerised till/making financial transactions

You’ll also need excellent communication and organisation skills.
In addition, knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of service are required.

Scale 2 salary progression for this post is £17,141 to £20,118pa.
