About Us
Work Match, Richmond and Wandsworth council’s jobs and skills brokerage is recruiting for four Business Engagement and Employment Officers to add further resource to an already successful employment delivery team.
The Role
The primary purpose of this position is to provide a screening and matching service for local people seeking employment and for local businesses seeking to recruit. Our objective is to ensure that residents registered with the Wandsworth Work Match brokerage service can access employment or training appropriate to their needs.
The role of the Recruitment Consultant is to liaise with local businesses regarding job vacancies and other employment opportunities and to advertise, promote and match local applicants to vacancies advertised.
The post holder will also work closely with Work Match’s Partnerships and Commissioning team to ensure training delivered is employer responsive and demand led, based on evidence gathered from the local area and our Housing and Employment Team to ensure that a wide range of local job opportunities are presented to local jobseekers and those with an interest in working locally.
