Residential Childcare Worker - Linden Lodge School

The Role

Various arrangements available (Shifts are 7-9am Tuesday to Friday and/or 4-9pm Monday to Thursday).

1 year Fixed Term Contract with possibility to be made permanent.

Term Time Only – 39 Weeks per year OR Bank Staff Claims Only

Opportunities to join our highly motivated and skilled team as a Residential Childcare Worker have become available within our residential unit, Richley House.

 

The main focus of this provision is to ensure children and young people get the best possible experience whilst staying at Richley House. Children and young people come to the residential unit to access a waking day curriculum as well as an extended opportunity to make friends and socialise.

Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for visually-impaired children and young people aged 2 – 19 years. We have a three acre campus in Wimbledon with good transport links (8 minutes’ walk from Southfields underground station on the district line and well positioned for 493 and 39 bus routes) offering innovative indoor and outdoor facilities to support teaching and learning whilst promoting children and young people’s independence.

Candidates must possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR be willing to undertake this qualification
