SEN Learning Support Assistant - All Saints’ C. of E. Primary School

The Role

30 hrs per week (9 am - 3.30pm – ½ hour lunch) 

Term time only (39 weeks per year)

Temporary post

The governors and headteacher of All Saints’ Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a strong and adaptable SEN LSA to work with a pupil with an Education Health and Care plan in Year 2.  You must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.   In addition, a working knowledge of how to support a pupil with Speech and Language difficulties is essential.   You would be working under the direction of the Year 2 teacher and the Inclusion Manager.

You will also be expected to provide some additional general support for other pupils in the class including running interventions.

This is a temporary, event liked contract , linked to a named child.

We are looking for someone who can:

  •  demonstrate successful experience in a primary setting
  • work as part of the staff team
  • work with individuals and groups of pupils in class, and in the playground
  • help to organise classroom activities and prepare resources
  • support pupils with additional needs and deliver interventions.

Experience is essential
