We are a large 3 form entry school with a fantastic reputation at the heart of a vibrant and diverse multi-ethnic community. In addition to our main school, we have an ASD Specialist Nursery and Reception Unit. We are located in Tooting, South West London, very close to both Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec underground stations.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable SENCO who has the appropriate SENCO qualification or is working towards completion of this. A passion for inclusion as well as a sound understanding of how to support children with SEND is essential as is a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development. The successful applicant will be part of our happy and friendly Inclusion team and work with our team members to ensure the best outcomes possible are achieved for all of our children. This role may possibly require a small teaching commitment of one day per week if a FT post is offered.

- Is an excellent and creative practitioner
- Has leadership experience and can apply this to a whole school context
- Has a proven record of expertise in Special Education Needs
- Is able to engage and communicate successfully with Parents & Carers
- Has a passion for children’s learning and development at all levels
- Is able to lead, inspire and motivate others
- Is able to use and interpret data and assessment effectively
- Has a proven track record of significant impact upon attainment of all pupils
- Has the ability to form positive relationships with the whole school community and outside agencies
- Has the highest possible standards and expectations of themselves and others
