Hillbrook is a dynamic and thriving school with a commitment to moving forward and improving standards for pupils. We require a SENCo to join our enthusiastic, highly effective inclusion team. This post be would be suitable for either a current SENCO, or an experienced teacher with a proven track record of raising attainment, particularly in relation to pupils with SEN.
The successful applicant will work with the Deputy for Inclusion, Assistant Head / SENCO and other Inclusion team members to ensure the active participation, learning and achievement of all pupils in our inclusive school.
You will need to:
• Be an exemplary teacher
• Have a proven record of expertise in Special Education Needs
• Demonstrate success with regard to parental engagement
• Have a passion for children’s learning and development at all levels
• Be able to accept challenges, inspire and motivate others
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use assessment data
• Have a desire to achieve and raise standards
• Deliver interventions across the school
• Be a committed team member
• Have the ability to engage the whole school community including external agencies
• Have a commitment to professional development and be prepared to ‘think outside the box’
