SENCo (4 days a week, out of class, working across two Wandsworth schools that are in a partnership)

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

About Us

Required: September 2024

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who is inspirational, dedicated and motivated to be a SENCo at Trinity St Mary’s C of E Primary School and Roehampton C of E Primary School. As a SENCo across both schools, you will need to lead and monitor the achievement of children with SEND and liaise with colleagues and external agencies to ensure strategies and support are in place.

This role is a wonderful opportunity to develop key strategic vision across two areas of Wandsworth and support children with SEND in both schools. The partnership allows for flexible working and movement between the schools so if you are looking for a role that offers new experiences every day and a chance to make a positive impact, then this is the role for you.

You will need to have experience of working with children and have QTS.  In addition, you will need to demonstrate a record of accomplishment in raising standards, be a creative thinker who is able to inspire and motivate children, and be committed to working in partnership with the communities of both schools, including the churches.

Both schools have a positive environment in which self-discipline and honesty is encouraged, underpinned by our Christian distinctiveness and our dedication in the teaching of Christian values and morals. Both schools are located close to public transport links and can easily be reached.

To arrange a visit to the school/s please contact the school office on 020 8673 4166 or 020 8788 8650.

Closing date: Friday 5th July 2024 (at 9am)
Interviews will take place on Monday 15th July 2024
