SEND Teaching Assistant for our SEND Nursery/Reception class - Granard Primary School

The Headteacher and Governors of Granard Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, self-motivated and inspiring SEND Teaching Assistant to work in our special needs Nursery/Reception class for children with learning difficulties, Autism and/or complex needs.


The job includes supporting the Teacher with the development and education of our children in the class. 


The right candidate will be a role model to our children; support the children with self-care and towards meeting their targets; promote effective speech and language; make learning fun and have a genuine belief that all children have the potential for success.  


You will need to be proactive and creative in supporting and engaging the children in the classroom and the outside environment. 


The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal relationships and be proud to work in a school that has the vision to nurture, inspire and transform lives.


English and Maths GCSE grade A-C, or equivalent, is essential.  Candidates selected for interview must bring evidence of their qualifications with them.  We would be very happy to receive applications from graduates. Please ensure your supporting statement addresses everything in the Person Specification.
