School Finance Officer - St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School

The Role

Part Time: 0.4 (2 days) (43 weeks)
Hours: 8:30am – 4pm
Required from February 2022

The Governing Body of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced part time Finance Officer for 2 days a week. This is a busy and varied role.

The broader areas of responsibility would be: purchasing, invoicing, lettings of premises, administrative tasks, Parentmail payments, childcare fees and vouchers and payroll

We are looking for:

  • An experienced Finance Officer ideally from an educational setting
  • Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
  • A confident and clear communicator
  • Has attention to detail, a friendly and professional manner and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • A logical thinker with the ability to forward plan
  • Excellent verbal and written skills through diplomacy, tact and empathy
  • Excellent level of maths
  • Sympathetic to the faith, aims and ethos of the school
