Science Technician

• Term time only – 36.5 hours per week 
• Starting Salary - £28,500 (pay review 1st September)

Ashcroft Technology Academy is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic technician to join the vibrant and superbly resourced Science department from September 2026.

The successful candidate will:

• have a keen interest in Science (Biology preferable)
• enjoy working with young people
• be extremely well organised and highly motivated
• be able to work well in a team as well as independently
• be an excellent communicator
• be a creative and flexible person who is committed to learning new skills and sharing their expertise with others
• Experience working in a similar role would be welcome, but not essential as training will be provided
