We are seeking to appoint a full time dynamic senior practitioner who is passionate about developing best practice for children and families. To further develop the strong leadership for our targeted family and parenting support team.

We are seeking an experienced senior practitioner who can place children at the heart of their practice, who believe that the relationship with children and their families is crucial to their overall improved outcomes. Sound like you? Come and join us!

Our goals and vision

We are all about improving outcomes for children and families. Our approach is ‘Think Family, Think Community’ supporting children and their families within their community to reduce their needs escalating to statutory interventions. Working with the families’ strengths, building their resilience to help them face their challenges.

The Team

You will join an already highly skilled and experienced team of practitioners who are committed to ensuring that children and families reach their full potential. Working closely with colleagues in social care and our community partners to offer the best service to support vulnerable children and families.

The Role

The Senior practitioners will support practice of frontline workers and make effective links with our partners in schools and the community.

You will support a team of staff to deliver interventions by applying the theory relating to adverse childhood experiences, restorative practice, and multi-modal approaches and ensure that a level one programme of activities is designed to develop pro-social relationships, emotional regulation, positive risk taking and resilience.

The successful candidate will ensure that the quality of the work undertaken is of a consistently high standard and that the voice of the family and child are central to all the work that is undertaken.
