Senior IT Technician - Ernest Bevin College

Ernest Bevin College, whose students are aged between 11-19, is a vibrant and a truly inclusive all boys college with a mixed sixth form.  Based in Tooting, South West London, our college takes pride in having an exceptional level of pastoral care where all staff are dedicated to giving each and every student both a quality learning experience and the life skills that opens doors to any career path they wish to tread in the future.

Our students, governors and staff are now seeking a full time Senior IT Technician to join our College and highly skilled IT/Network Department. The successful candidates duties will include:

  • Maintaining all IT hardware – regular checks on room and equipment - workstations / laptops, Detect, diagnose and resolve workstations, peripheral and application errors.
  • Imaging and setup accordingly for staff/students. Manage deployment of Staff and Student client device.
  • Basic diagnostic and recovery routines on network equipment
  • Support maintenance of printers in their regular cycle.

We feel fortunate that the college is based in a diverse, vibrant and social community which has an excellent variety of transport links and this makes us easily accessible.  Staff also benefit from our onsite facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness studio which can be used outside of the college day.
