Senior Planning Enforcement Officer

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Enforcement Planner to join our unique and dynamic Planning Enforcement Team which operates across two London Boroughs.

Your role will be to investigate and resolve more complex and contentious breaches of planning control. This will include analysing development proposals, communicating with residents, councillors and planning professionals.

Your investigations may lead to service of enforcement notices, defending decisions at appeal, giving evidence in court and overseeing direct-action to secure compliance with enforcement notices.

You will be a key senior member of the team and will use your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to support junior officers in their work and assist them is resolving difficult cases.
