Strategic Partnership Manager

About Us

This exciting new post will develop and implement the councils’ corporate approach to developing stronger and effective partnerships with the community, voluntary sector, and strategic partners in both Richmond and Wandsworth. 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Ensure that each council has strong and collaborative strategic partnership and stakeholder management arrangements that are focussed on improving outcomes for residents in the borough and align around mutually agreed borough and community objectives.
  • Manage a team that delivers effective strategic partnership and engagement activities.
  • Have a strong focus on problem solving, convening the right people from across organisations and the community to delivering community solutions and building resilience.

You will need to bring a good working knowledge of how to develop effective strategic partnerships and managing multiple stakeholders within a statutory service setting or from within a voluntary or community group. 

You will also bring direct or transferrable skills which will allow you to lead complex projects through the Councils’ governance systems.

Strong project management skills and a confident communicator are essential.    

You will need to be flexible in how you work, have good analytical skills and be a strong report writer. This is a fixed term contract until 15/02/2026.
