The Role

Work Match, Richmond and Wandsworth council’s jobs and skills brokerage is recruiting for two Talent Management Officers to support an exciting new project Connecting Communities helping Wandsworth residents living in the borough’s social housing to access the 1000’s of job opportunities in the borough.
The Role:
The primary purpose of this position is delivering the Connecting Communities Programme provide an employment service delivering sustainable employment outcomes for a diverse range of residents, with a particular focus on our residents living in the borough’s social housing. To effectively engage with a wide range of Wandsworth residents who have registered with the councils Work Match service. To assess work readiness of these residents and enable them to access appropriate employment support or training. To Manage a talent pool of work ready Wandsworth residents and liaise with Work Match colleagues to ensure these residents can be placed into local job openings.
Our objective is to ensure that residents registered with the Wandsworth Work Match brokerage service (and associated services) can access employment or training appropriate to their needs.
About you:
You will be an ambitious self-starter, ready to take on the challenge of joining a successful job brokerage service for talented local people.
The ideal candidate will be able to deliver high quality advice and guidance, CV preparation, job readiness preparation and be able to successfully match local people to jobs created in the associated boroughs that Work Match operates. The post holder will also work closely with key stakeholders to identify suitable training provision for residents whilst managing a diverse caseload of residents.
