Graveney is an extremely popular and successful co-educational school situated in Tooting, South West London on a pleasant campus with excellent facilities.  Graveney Trust has a commitment to providing the best opportunities to all students and to developing the professional skills and career opportunities of staff.

We wish to appoint a highly motivated and committed teacher of science to teach at all Key Stages and join our large, supportive and successful Science department. Graveney is an oversubscribed, co-educational school designated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and widely recognised as one of the top 100 state funded schools in the country.

Sciences are very popular at Graveney and consequently we have many students who continue studying science to A-level. There are currently over 150 students studying A-level Biology consequently you will be expected to teach at all key stages.

We have high expectations of our students with many aspiring to medicine or Oxbridge applications. At Key Stage 4, most students study separate sciences and staff usually teach only within their subject specialism.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to work in a supportive and energetic team. The successful candidate will need to have excellent subject knowledge, be an outstanding teacher who is keen to develop their practice and bring continued success to our students.
